Travel Vaccinationsglobal air travel

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.

There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below:

Europe Europe & Russia North America North America
Central America Central America South America South America
Caribbean Caribbean Africa Africa
Middle East Middle East Central Asia Central Asia
East Asia East Asia Australasia Australasia and Pacific

All travellers are to complete both pages of the travel health risk assessment form and to return it to the surgery at least 8 weeks before you travel, ideally sooner. Delay in returning the forms could result in us not being able to complete the risk assessment and all required vaccinations before your departure date.

If you are unable to complete and return the forms in this time scale, we suggest for your own health, wellbeing and safety during your trip, that you access your immunisations at one of the following travel health centres:

The Globe Travel Health Centre, 26 Cattle Market Street, Norwich, Norfolk, NR1 3DY

01603 667323

The Travel Clinic Ltd. 41 Hills Road, Cambridge, CB2 1NT

0330 1004127

Please note we are not a registered yellow fever vaccination centre and are unable to give this vaccination. Your nearest centre is:

Bridge Street Surgery, 30 Bridge Street, Downham Market, PE38 9DH. 01366388888

Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
